OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT: The main objective of the project is documenting and digitizing cultural heritage and its promotion and conservation.
- Digitization of immovable cultural heritage in the Kazanlak valley and create a database.
- Create a digital center in Iskra History Museum, Kazanlak, providing access to 3D models of movable and immovable cultural heritage, virtual tours, information and photos of objects from Kazanlak Valley.
- Ensuring accessibility of cultural heritage of Kazalashkata Valley.
ACTIVITIES:
Establishment of a digital center in Iskra History Museum, containing:
- Information, 3D models and reconstructions of nine Thracian tombs and funerary complexes of Kazanlak valley, and many artifacts from the museum. Equipped with:
- Specialized 3D scanner.
- Portable Graphics station management process digitization.
- Digital SLR camera with video.
- Software for graphics processing, video and photo images.
- Notebook computers, server, air routers to build a wireless local area network and internet access
- Electronic sensory information boards for visitors access
- Training of a team of 20 people to operate the equipment and software for digitization.
Production of software and portal:
- Visualize and analyze the collected information and digitizing of movable heritage.
- Virtual platform will support Bulgarian and English and will contain:
• information about the location of archaeological sites with precise geographic coordinates.
• Photographs and text description for each move and immovable object.
• a 3-D reconstructions of important archaeological sites.
• Digitization of movable heritage.
• 3D scanning and capturing 9 Thracian tombs and funerary complexes of Kazanlak valley: Helvetia, Griffins, Shoushmanets, Kazanlak, Sarafova, Kosmatka Much Arsenalka, Ostrusha and Sashova.

Develop a geographic information system (GIS) on the territory of Kazanlak Valley.
- Will contain documentation of archaeological sites in terms of spatial characteristics and geographical location environment in which they are located and basic information about them.
Public presentation of research and project results in NAIM BAS to students of archeology from the University and the New Bulgarian University.
Presentation of the cultural heritage of the area in front of students from schools in the municipality of Kazanlak.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
A separate digital center in Iskra History Museum.
Developed software architecture and management interface, visualizing and analyzing information gathered from research sites and digitized movable heritage.

Improved administrative and expert capacity and alternative presented cultural heritage for the development of a new generation of audiences with high culture museum.
Engaging a wide range of people with special interest in the field, as well as increased interest in conventional and thematic tourists.
